I admit the cleaning question was pretty dumb, but then I didn't think sand would be that dirty - I suppose I have to be wrong at some point in my life! :D

Dito to that - plus my DIY is shocking!! The set up is looking good. Here's me putting off moving my room around so I can fit in another tank; I'm ill, so I'm using that as an excuse of the laziness! lol

They do that in the Stockton one too, that's they only place I have seen them in. Each time I have been in they have been immaculately clean.

Actually some places have started using these "cups" in the UK, but they don't tend to have the in the masses that Wal Mart in the states have. Basically it is a plastic tank that is teeny tiny that you basically couldn't fit a filter or heater.

I've just got a new tank and it's pretty much the same volume as yours and I was thinking of using sand, so it's nice to see it in that size tank! So how do you know the sand is clean before you put it in the tank? Also what sand did you use? Just the play sand?

You must keep an eye on them though, as the male could end up attacking the females or vice versa.

"Tank Bread Bettas ready this weekend, pictures coming soon....." We're getting there! Anyone got any kind of idea of prices - unfortunately I haven't managed to get to the site when they have betta's for sale, so and idea of what they are commanding would be nice :D
