Hello! I'm a 32 year old mom, wife, and paralegal in Central Texas, USA. I just started this hobby about a year ago. The journey started when I locked eyes with a beautiful red and blue betta at a local fish store, who I lovingly named Deathwing. I call him D-Dub for short. Without thought, I bought him and a 1.5 gallon tank and lugged everything to my office at work. When he looked sickly, I started doing research and realized what a horrible thing I was doing to this poor fish. I upgraded his tank, planted it, and bought him an ivory apple snail named Spartacus. I have been hooked ever since. I just started a new 20 gallon community tank for our new home, and look forward to sharing my learning process with everyone, and hopefully be inspired by the more experienced enthusiasts here.
