Paul i would try the water changes over next couple of days but buy the INTERPET Meds just in case it don't work.....

If it was near the mouth it could have been Mouthrot, but sounds to me like Fungus, this can be treated with water changes or using INTERPET nO8 aNTI fUNGUS AND fINROT TREATMENT.

How long until your other tanks are cycled? The Plastic breeder trap would be fine but I wouldn't keep her in there for longer than a few days, other ppl may advise differently...but I don't like to keep mine in them for too long...do whatever works best for you. Nathalie

Finely crushed flake food is ideal for your fry ATM, they can be fed up to 4 times a day if neccessary, well done with the Fry, and good luck with the nursery!

Could be White Spot or Fungus, we would need a good close up shot of him/her to make a better diagnosis. Nathalie :blush:

Hi Dawn, For her own safety and well being I would personally put her in the fry net as when livebearers get stressed they can 'Self Abort' their young, better to be safe than sorry mate. :) If the other 2 tanks had cycled I would have put her in there for her to chill, but you don't have this...

That would depend on your own tastes.....big/small fish......predatory/community...planted/sparsley planted...I'm sure someone will be laong shortly who can advise you better. I am in the process of making the change from Community to Predatory hopefully, just gotta empty my tank of community...
