Kings Park Mike aka KPM
I think I was 14 when I got my first tank. It was a 20 gallon long with a wrought iron stand. Less than a year later my Pearl Gouramis were ready to breed so I got a second 20 long to move them into for breeding. Should have kept them in the original tank and moved the other fish. Still learning. Some highlights include breeding angel fish and breeding rainbow cichlids - herotalipia multispinosas (about as hard as breeding guppies. As long as you keep the water parameters good you can't stop them from breeding). The 46 gallon bowfront is going to be retired soon. I have had it for approximately 20 years and the plastic retainer strap on top broke. It's getting wider across the middle. I have a 75 gallon tank with a sump that will replace the 46 as soon as I get around to fixing the cabinet.
