There are lots of so called ways to tell but the only sure way is to see them laying the eggs mate.

Get a broad spectrum wormer or anti paracitic med. This will solve the problem if its tap worm or similar. Then feed with high protien food. Like Beafheart Mix. :D

Cut the temp back to 24dC and don't feed them for three to four days. Let the yokesack disapear then feed them. Lower the water level down to around 6" to make it easier for them to survive. No this is normal for Krib. They realy only get the best colouring when conditioned for breeding. This being common in all species and sub species of Kribs.

Which Krib do you have. why not get a mate for your Krib but Kribs are ok with most other fish. Why not try some cory's. Strebia being my fav or maybe some panda's. Best to stick to one type though for best results.
