    Limia Vittata

An interesting thing just happened. I just Googled limia vittata and, much to my surprise, this old thread came up on the first page. Who'd have thought I'd ever see it again? :D

    Buying online

I've often seen them offer on AquaBid but never used them because I don't seem to have luck with overnight shipping from the west coast. My grandson lives near there, however, and he told me it's a great store.

    Good or bad snail?

I have a small colony of assassin snails that I bought some years ago. Since they eliminated all my ramshorns, they have fed on regular fish food quite well. They are slow to reproduce and are pretty to look at. I recommend them to anyone who wants just a few interesting snails.

My First Spawn Of S. Lacerdai

That's wonderful news, Coryologist! :yahoo: Of course, I had to run to Planet Catfish to see what they were like and was surprised to see that they are rather small fish. How cool! I am looking forward to seeing their progress in the future.

How Do I Tell If My New Two Corydoras Apart?

Thank you for the move, fluttermoth. :) I don't know what kind of corys you have, but they all are similar in this respect. Here's a picture of a fully mature wild caught C. aeneus. In it you can see that her fin, fully extended, is rather large. The male will always have a smaller one.
