yeah i raised the water level in the back by just extending the tube and that seemed to quiet it down a lot

my tank is a 75 gallon with a hang on back style overflow box that runs the water into the sump. When the water pours down into the part of the box that is inside the tank it makes a sound like a waterfall. Is there anyway to correct this?

What would be the best filtration for the price for a 55 gallon reef tank. I have been looking at doing a sump with an overflow box however this looks fairly expensive so any help would be greatly appreciated.

how do i attach the plug though?

I just bought a 24" double tube flourescent light strip but when i opened the box there was no plug just two copper wires coming out of the ballast of the fixture. So my question is how do I connect this light so that it will plug into a 120V wall socket?
