- I'm a newbie at under a year and loving it. Little did I know at the time that the 2 first fish my daughter picked out at the pet store were a male and female Mollie. So now we are hooked. It's a family affair. Adult Balloon Mollie's 2 female and one male. On fry batch number three (2, 3 and 5 weeks old respectively) and gonna need a much bigger tank! Like now.
