Nice upgrade. How about trying to hide it at the back left of the tank behind the plants and things. Make it so that it is still visible, but hidden away by all the foliage like ruins would be.

It was just an idea, and if I went ahead with it, I would want to know whether it would be safe. Many people make 'themed' tanks and I don't see why this would be a 'bad' idea.

I'm 21. When I was around 10/11 I had a goldfish in a small bowl for about 1.5 years. I have had my current tank since late January this year and have also got a 1.5 Gallon Betta Tank.

I've had the same problem recently, with regards to just 1 male and 1 female platy in the tank. There was two females, and the male didn't seem to chase either of them, now one of my females is pregnant 9and in the breeding net) the other has been left on her own! I'd defiantly recommend...

I fish my Betta's into cups and clean their tanks fully. I then add the dechlorinated water and such into the tank and gently allow the Betta's to swim out of their cups back into their nice-clean homes!

I think that removing the bottles, the tank would look much better. Do the Betta's ever try swimming into the mouth of the bottles? I'm sure they would get stuck if they did!
