Hi everyone I bought some Anubias already attached to a rock. It has been in my tank for 2 weeks and has serious hair algae :( My tank is still cycling. Any advise on how to get rid of it please? Thanks :)

Hi all My PH keeps dropping mid cycle. I have done many water changes evertime it drops. It has dropped from 8.0 to 5.5 overnight! :unsure: Looking to buffer it up using bicarbonate soda, is this the same as baking soda? Thanks x

Well I am glad to hear it then, may have been to do with the fact that I contacted them direct and had a little moan. All the fish must be happier now :good: Was worth me putting the effort in :)

I went into Pets at Home yesterday and I have to say it was better than Golls! I don't actually rate Pets at Home but honestly all the fish had colour and looked happy. They had a Betta in a heated tank. I didn't mention the blow heater again? The Betta's did look horrible whether the blow...

You need to attach it to something, Bogwood ... a rock etc. Fishing line or cotton works well ... as do elastic bands :)

They had some of these in Maidenhead in Earlswood. They were around £12-£15 each if I remember right, they were roughly 3 inches though, beautiful fish!!

We will never agree on this so lets just leave it. Call me prude but i like a fish shop to be nice when i walk round it, the place was a mess with dirty floor littered with junk.

I'm sorry, but I've got to disagree with you on this one ... There were a few tanks yes that had fish in quarantine ... but they were still for sale! The Puffer in the picture was being treated but was still for sale! £150 Yes, the fish were reasonably priced, but I wouldn't want to risk it...

My tank is currently cycling, but hopefully won't be too long so I've been thinking about what to put with my Betta that I'll be getting :) I can't decide between Harlequins or Pygmys? :/ My tank is the Arc 35l What would you have?
