I recently got a gorgonian. I was a bit sceptical as i was told they could be hard to keep. But this one has done really well.
Apologies for the photo quality, it was taken on my phone.
Gorgonian
I'm interested in getting a blue sponge but I was just wondering if blue sponges required any special treatment and if there was a minimum sized tank they could be kept in. Any info would be really helpful.
It is normal it is either moving out as its old tube is too small or it just wants a change of scenery. Also if it reproduces its offspring will float off to colonize somewhere else
Thanks for that. The lighting is t8 (i think, the bigger of the two sized bulbs). I have a marine day-light that i was told would suit the coral and promote growth and i also have a marine blue.
Sorry but i don't know my stats at the moment i need to buy a new test kit but i should be able to...
I bought a pulsing xenia yesterday and they tested the water at the shop and it all checked out good. It was really active in the shops tank but when i got it home alot of its frags were droopy and weren't pulsing. Today it has a bit more life and a few more frags are active but nothing compared...
I've never kept marine fish before and i've been doing some research.
I am planning on keeping a sinlge pair of common clownfish and a single anemone. But i was just wondering what is the minimum tank size that they will happily live in?
