Try aquarium salt. You can do baths/dips or add directly to the aquarium. When nothing else worked this worked for me

Update: doubt anyone cares but I checked up on the balas and the fish store created an entire community tank setup for them! They got new young balas to keep them company and many other fish. They seem calm and happy, and I am so glad they went somewhere they are well cared for.

Got another female and found out one was a male! Returned him and got another female. The tank is peaceful now and there doesn’t seem to be aggression anymore

I got this tank from a neighbor who didn't want it anymore. At the time it had FIVE rainbow sharks living together and they didn't fight. I ended up rehoming 3 and the 2 I have I've watched super closely and they are not aggressive to any fish in the tank. One clown pleco one rubberlip pleco.
