I'm considering redoing my 60L cube aquarium into a paludarium. A 30+ Litre water section and planted land area above with water flowing down hardscape from a mini submersible pump. I will need to find water-wicking materials for mosses and plants for the land area. I've seen sphagnum moss will work well and cargo mesh/Hygrolon. It seems mesh materials are either polyester or nylon for the budget options. Would these two materials be plant/fish safe?
